Infectious groves, meaningful lyrics and killer musicianship are what make this live experience memorable.
Because of our versatility Lord Rífa can be on any size stage. We can fit on a small stage as an all acoustic band-2 guitars, violin, upright bass, percussion and Vocals-playing Americana to an intimate crowd.
We can be in full electric mode playing a raucous mixture of funk, progressive and Americana tossed in for good measure.
Our music has roots in blues, funk, world music, progressive, hip hop, classical and rock. It is about social justice as much as it is about love.
Our music is about protest and awareness as much as it is about nasty funky beats. It is contagiously danceable!
We can safely draw between 25 and 50 people per show for now. We know for a fact that this will grow. When we were gigging full time we were drawing 150 per show with very little but word of mouth.
We have constantly been on the in the top 20 locally and top 10 regionally on the Reverberation charts.
We have spent most of our time in the studio scoring for independent films and projects, but it's time to go out and play.
We will open any show you have on Friday, Saturday or Sundays. Play any protest you put on. Play any daytime outdoor gig you have. This is a labor of love for us.
