Slouching Towards Bethlehem
an Operetta/ Ballet Pt.1
In a time removed from earthly ties, before Atlantis, Lemuria and Gondwanaland, God has seen fit to throw the Goddess out of the heavens and in doing so splits himself into many facets, none of them knowing what has occurred, only that they hate each other and are at war with each other. (God and the Goddess have been a single entity).
In the history of this world-as with other worlds, God has created man in the image of himself and so being, they are at constant war with each other. For the dominion of the earth, the pleasures of man and the adoration of the Gods. The more blood, the happier the gods are.
Gaia-the Goddess-knows the answer lies in the reunion of Gods two selves. The reunion of her and her lover. But she cannot reunite them until God understands the war within himself. To this end she creates, Rashelum, the sword of peace. Where Rashelum walks, peace follows and God is not pleased.
Gods favorite warrior is the General who leads his armies into battle with great fervor. God sends the General to vanquish Rashelum but instead falls in love her. Through the love of Rashelum, the General renounces his warring ways and walks the path of Rashelum spreading peace throughout the land.
He is now known as the Prophet.
God being the jealous , narcissistic, misogynistic creature that he has allowed himself to become, steals Rashelum away in space and time. He wipes her memory of him, Gaia and all things, so that she can only remember what has happened that day, and all she knows is the false love of a jealous God.
The Prophet is broken and with Gaia creates a plan to find her.
Slouching Towards Bethlehem is in three parts. This is part 1.
Part 2 is The Chase through time and space and the story of Rashelum's battle.
Part 3 is about the final battle between God and the Goddess for reunification.

These are 3 scratch tracks from the ten tracks that comprise the ballet. These are continuosley changing and growing until we find our Dance partner. Every-so -often we put them out to the public to see how they do. Please allow for the rough nature.
Sawtell is the only place on earth created in secret by Gaia, where the lovers can find peace from God.
The Prophet is the story of the General's love for Rashelum. It is sung with a female lead but will be a Male lead when finished.
Tocatta in Five is a chase sequence between God and the prophet through time and space.
Who we are
Odds and Ends
We all are multi-instrumentalists as well. Adding Cello, Tenor and Alto sax, Clarinet, Silver and Native American Flutes, Electronic Vibraphones and Marimba, Banjo and Mandolin.
This gives us the ability to add incredibly lush textures to scores. Essentially, We are a 7 member orchestra.
We have a very wide diversity of styles. Country to classical, metal to gospel, Progressive to cabaret. This is essential for film music and I believe dance as well.
We understand mood and place. We understand noise and quiet. We understand Sound design as fx and as score.

From a staging point of view, Slouching Towards Bethlehem is a multi-media blend of live and pre recorded movements that interact.
It is a story that takes place in 3 dimensions. From above the stage-the gods on wires and Gaia flying through the air. From the back of the stage-video screens running different impresssionistic reditions of where the action takes place-=the heavens, the earth , the hells.
On the stage-far right and Left are 2 very large video screens where the Prophet and Gaia act. Large enough to be interacted with the dancers above.
And on-stage where the "kids" act, the band is staged and the rest of the ballet occurs.
